CARL - A Smart Home Robot Concept

We believe robots will play a major role in our future, they will soon discover people's homes. But do they need to look like glossy white humanoid-wannabes with rolling eyes moving clumsily on tiny wheels? We don't think so: CARL is our concept for a smart security robot following an integrative design approach: shape, colors and materials are suited to adapt well into people's environments, and the ballbot technology allows CARL to move very smooth and elegant.
