I Designed a Greenhouse Home to Escape the Modern World

My book "A Year in Design" is available here: https://www.ungstudio.com/book In a world filled with endless digital distractions, how can we design an off-grid sanctuary that allows us to completely disconnect and recharge? In this video, I explore the design of the Lattice Greenhouse Home, a visionary sustainable architecture concept built using rammed earth walls. This 2,200-square-foot modern desert retreat hides a breathtaking 1,000-square-foot central greenhouse and indoor food forest right in the middle of the floor plan. It’s a self-sustaining, solar-powered home utilizes a massive architectural grid skylight that physically opens to the sky, creating natural stack-effect ventilation to cool the house while providing soft, diffused sunlight to the lush garden below. Let me know in the comments where you would build this rammed earth greenhouse home to escape the noise of the modern world, and don't forget to subscribe for more sustainable architecture design ideas!
