In addition to WiFi, the sensor also has Bluetooth, and via this Bluetooth, it can act as a gateway for connecting Bluetooth temperature sensors and door sensors (up to 10 devices can be connected). All these connected sensors will also be forwarded locally to Home Assistant. However, the sensors must be from LinknLink. Remote controls that use this protocol can also be connected via Bluetooth. The presence sensor itself also has a temperature and humidity sensor built in. Overall, as you can tell from what you've read, the sensor is truly sophisticated and covers a wide range of devices with just one device.
