PROSTITUTION IN DIMAPUR CONTINUES TO THRIVE EVEN AFTER ADMINISTRATION’S STRICT ACTIONS

After Nagaland TV reported on illegal sexual activity in Railway Gate auto-stand area, Dimapur last year, NLTV on May 9 re-visited the location to analyze the current situation and to see how it has been taken care by local authorities and administration to remove prostitutes from public zone. According to the report, the condition of this location is worse than before because of the increase in the number of street walkers even after several actions taken by Nagaland Police. As per the input added by auto drivers and other passerby who mostly takes route through this area claimed that they can still find some prostitutes dealing their business over the flyover bridge or below during the evening .
