ISKCON Watford: England's Largest Hindu Temple — What to Expect

In this vlog, I’m sharing my peaceful visit to ISKCON Watford, also known as Bhaktivedanta Manor, one of the most serene spiritual places to visit near London. We spend the day exploring the temple grounds, visiting the goshala and Gokul Farm, feeding the cows, walking through the gardens, spending quiet moments near the lake, and soaking in the calm atmosphere of the place. ISKCON Watford is not just about devotion — it’s also a beautiful space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect. The manor itself is a historic heritage building, donated to ISKCON by George Harrison, and today it includes the main temple, Shri Krishna Haveli, meditation spaces, gardens, and cafés serving simple vegetarian food. 📍 Location: Bhaktivedanta Manor (ISKCON Watford) Hilfield Lane, Aldenham, Hertfordshire WD25 8EZ 🚆 How to Reach by Public Transport: By Train: Take a train from London Euston to Watford Junction (around 20 minutes). From Watford Junction, take a local bus or taxi to Bhaktivedanta Manor. Cabs are easily available and take around 10–15 minutes. By Bus: Local buses from Watford town centre also stop near the temple (check current routes before travelling). 🚗 By Car: Free parking is available on-site. This is a perfect day trip from London if you’re looking for peace, spirituality, or simply a calm place to spend a few hours away from the city.
