Dear Mama - Read by Ian McKellen
Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City books chronicle the lives and loves of a group of unique people living in San Francisco in the late 1970s. Probably the most beloved of these characters is Michael Tolliver, a gay man who discovers that his parents have joined Anita Bryant's campaign in Florida to quell the rights of gays. He then writes them a letter, read here for Letters Live by Sir Ian McKellen.
