Global Perspectives on Vehicle Lifecycle Management

How can countries better manage vehicles at the end of their life? This webinar organized by the Cooling, Circularity and Pollution Prevention Team within UNDP's Planet Hub brings together experts from Japan, China, the Netherlands and Brazil to share practical experiences on vehicle lifecycle management, including extended producer responsibility (EPR), vehicle recycling systems, EV battery management, policy development and circular automotive value chains. The discussion highlights different national approaches, key challenges, lessons learned and opportunities for developing countries as they strengthen sustainable transport, pollution prevention and resource recovery efforts.
