The initiative seeks to gather more than 5,000 signatures to present a proposed constitutional reform to the Congress of the Republic on September 28. Among the proposed changes are the elimination of nominating commissions, the strengthening of the judicial career path, and new mechanisms to reduce political influence in the election of high-ranking officials within the justice system.
