The shop traces its roots back to Harmony In My Head Vinyl Store, a 7-inch specialist online shop run by owner Inamasu for over a decade. Centered around genres such as new wave, indie, hip-hop, and soul, the store offers a carefully curated selection spanning a wide range of styles. Housed inside a renovated 50-year-old former residence, the shop’s interior creates a striking contrast with its exterior, offering an open and welcoming atmosphere that invites visitors to casually drop by. The store is especially known for its strong selection of 7-inch records, featuring unique picks shaped by DJ culture and a deep appreciation for sampling aesthetics. Listening and discovery are central to the shop’s philosophy, with a focus on creating a place where visitors can encounter music they never knew before.
