In the final round of the 2026 THE PLAYERS Championship, Cameron Young shot 4-under 68, including a birdie on the iconic 17th hole to win his second PGA TOUR title. The Florida Swing reaches its centerpiece with the 52nd edition of The PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. The PGA TOUR’s flagship event brings together the game’s biggest stars, including two-time champions Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, with McIlroy returning as the defending champion after capturing the 2025 title in a playoff against J.J. Spaun. Former champions Adam Scott, Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler are also back in the field. Fresh off his victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Akshay Bhatia arrives with momentum after defeating Daniel Berger in a playoff at Bay Hill.
