As you know, after visiting our friends Jaime and Mery, their tips and knowledge of the area left us quite restless and excited about the idea of ​​crossing the border. Considering that our route up to that point was taking us through the Los Ríos Region, and that our budget didn't seem to match (or so we thought) such a trip, after passing Curarrehue we stopped for "Manyiare Tonino" and to "MAKE DECISIONS": The cards on the table, the supplies, and the coins couldn't dampen our enthusiasm, and we completely changed course. We packed our things in the Mbarete Newen and off we went! Heading towards the Andes to cross into Argentina!! The journey from Curarrehue was simply wonderful. We traveled through the landscapes of Villarrica National Park and crossed the imposing Mamuil Malal Pass. Upon arriving in Junín de los Andes, the trip gave us something even better than the scenery: we met two incredible families! Juan Carlos, Milena, and Ampari from Córdoba, Argentina, and Marito and Margarita from Santiago, Chile, aboard "Palta Soto." It was with them that we hit it off and began our first ever road trip adventure!
