It also allows me easy access to remove cages for cleaning, maintenance, or replacement. There are definitely easier ways to do this, but try to work with stuff I already have, so I have to get a bit creative. Also the welfare of my rabbits is very important to me, so I take some extra steps to ensure their comfort.
