Breakfast TV and Beyond. 1983 saw the birth of a new phenomenon with Breakfast Time starting on the BBC in January and ITV following suit just weeks later with TV-am. The programme traces the changing fortunes - including moments of scandal for some - of the faces associated with early-morning television, including Frank Bough, Anne Diamond, Selina Scott, Jeremy Beadle and Ulrika Jonsson.
