The WILD WEST DERBY delivered absolute chaos. Galway United F.C. travelled to face Sligo Rovers F.C. and produced one of the biggest shocks of the season with a HUGE 4-1 away win. This was only Galway’s SECOND win in Sligo in 17 years… and somehow I was at BOTH of them. 🤯 Massive away scenes, absolute limbs in the Galway end, brilliant tifos from both sets of fans, goals flying in, and away players winding up the home crowd after the final whistle. One of the best League of Ireland away days I’ve ever experienced.
