The Thai military is proceeding with the construction of a 1.3-kilometer-long border fence between Thailand and Cambodia, specifically between border markers 52 and 54 in Pong Nam Ron District, Chanthaburi Province. The project is currently over 80% complete and is expected to be finished by the end of July. The Supreme Commander of the Royal Thai Armed Forces visited the site to monitor progress and emphasized that the project reflects the cooperation of all sectors in strengthening security and protecting national sovereignty along the border.
