EPIC Soviet Instrumental Song - Cossacks in Berlin (Казаки в Берлине)

Казаки в Берлине (Cossacks in Berlin, or The Cossacks Ride Through Berlin) is a World War 2 Soviet/Russian song celebrating victory over Germany. A seeming anachronism in a war dominated by tanks and planes, the Cossack cavalry made it through the war and to victory in Berlin. Subscribe!:    / @spiritrev   The song was written by the brothers Pokrass, two famous Stalin-era composers known for a number of other wartime songs. The lyrics were written by Tsezar Solodar. The song commemorates the battle achievements of the Cossacks, a number of whom fought on the Soviet & Allied side. Reportedly, Cossacks performing drills with their horses were one of the first sights that Allied British and American troops saw when crossing the Elbe to meet their Soviet counterparts at the end of the war.
