The glazes I mention you could mix with your acrylic paints are the PaperArtsy Matte Glaze, Gloss Glaze, Pearl Glaze, Satin Glaze; and Golden Glazing Fluid. You can also try glazing with watercolours (but even when allowed to dry between coats, they won't necessarily stay put in the same way).
