En la biblioteca de Sabina Urraca: “Yo escojo lo que a mí me parece literatura” | EL PAÍS

Sabina Urraca's (San Sebastián, 1984) library is fragmented. Part of it is at home, and the other part is in her studio, still under development. "How do you divide a library in two? The truth is, I make rather arbitrary decisions," says the writer and editor. Among the books that decorate her living room shelves is a copy of 'Heidi' that belonged to her mother, but also a flag sewn by a friend, and a paper magpie given to her by some readers. "I like the idea of a cluttered and chaotic library," she says. In this video, the author of El celo (The Jealousy) shows the treasures of her personal collection and confesses that she doesn't only enjoy reading books: "One of the things I like most is reading online forums. For me, it's a form of literature. I choose what I consider to be literature." Urraca also talks about how envy, an emotion she considers positive, has led her to become involved in the editing and development of books like 'Seismil' by Laura C. Vela, and 'Broma' by Lucía Marín.
