PicoMEM ISA Card Review

If you have an early DOS machine you'll be aware of the limitations of having something that old - you will need a "bridge" machine at a minimum to make floppy disks. Flash based hard drives such as the XT IDE have been a great innovation, but how about a card that can do both of these jobs and many more, for not a lot of money? Enter the PicoMEM - an ISA software defined card from FreddyV utilising the Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller. By keeping the component count low the price can be minimsed. Being software defined, the features are limited only by how hard you can push the microcontroller and can improved over time. In this video we review the PicoMEM with the optional AdLib components.
