【睡眠導入】なぜ自分にだけこんなに厳しいのか。自分を責める癖を手放す方法【脳科学×心理学】
For sleepless nights, gently. You can easily forgive others' mistakes. Yet, you can't forgive yourself for days, even years. Even when praised, you dismiss it as flattery, and at night, past failures resurface repeatedly. —This isn't because you're weak-willed or have a twisted personality. Why are we so hard on ourselves? And how can we break this habit? This video will slowly dissect the habit of self-blame, drawing on real-world research in neuroscience and psychology. There are two roots to self-criticism. One is "negativity bias"—a brain mechanism for survival that makes us remember bad things much more heavily than good things. The other is the "harsh voice of someone" absorbed in childhood, and an old mental defense mechanism that tries to preempt punishment. Furthermore, we directly confront the counterargument that "self-criticism is necessary," and ultimately conclude that what's truly needed isn't "harshness," but "accuracy and the ability to recover"—a gradual process over approximately 70 minutes, leading you to sleep. Finally, we prescribe "five techniques" to gently close the trial of self-blame. *Presented without subtitles, with calming visuals and the sound of a campfire, for sleep induction and background listening. Falling asleep is encouraged. ────────────── ▼ Table of Contents 00:00 Opening — Tonight's Theme 01:03 Why are we so hard on ourselves? — Problem Statement 06:14 ① The brain that only remembers bad things (Negativity Bias) 17:48 ② Another voice that resides in the mind (The inner critic) 28:44 Counter-argument: "Self-criticism is necessary" 37:48 Rebuttal — What's needed isn't harshness 52:12 Prescription — Five techniques to let go of the habit of blaming yourself 1:05:35 Conclusion ────────────── ▼ Main research and concepts referenced ・Baumeister et al.
