July 9, '23 Duff F5 Mandolin

I ordered this mandolin from Australian Luthier ‪@paulduff1582‬ July 6th 2022 and asked for a custom F5 mandolin with certain appointments. Paul was excellent to work with and communicated through the entire build allowing me to choose the wood and specs I wanted. He came over to the U.S. in September 2023 and brought the new mandolin to my house for delivery on 9/18/23. It came out of his July batch for 2023 and I had him place an extra label in the mandolin with the July, 9 2023 date as a nod to the Iconic Loyd Loar Gibson F5 that Bill Monroe played... 100 years to the day from when Loar signed the mandolin Bill played most of his life. I recommend checking out Paul Duff's mandolins if your looking for something special... His work is impeccable and his instruments sound amazing. I ordered this F5 after owning a 2021 2 Point model he built that I purchased at Carters Vintage.
