(Khandita Nayika) This particular thumri by Late Pt. Bindadin Maharajji, has been supported with a prelude of doha enlisting series of good omens happening to Nayika, which ensure arrival of her beloved in near future! Here Nayika turns into Vasaka-Sajjika who is busy with wel-coming preparations for her beloved! On his late arrival, noticing the typical marks on his body, it is needless to say, where he had been! Nayika is deeply hurt, yet she wants to hear from the horse's mouth. She asks him to touch the Veena and Knot of his Yadnopavita (the sacred thread, much valued in Indian Culture, and say that he really did not go there! But the Nayika bluntly keeps refusing!
