Multiplicative Decomposition Time Series Model (TS E4)
Modeling time series can be complicated however in this video I show how to create a simple model using trend and cycle as components. The same method could be used to add a seasonal component as well. This model is multiplicative meaning that the components are are multiplied together. In a later video I will build a model that is additive in the sense of a more traditional linear regression approach where the components are added together instead of multiplied.
