There is also nothing in the special law on citizenship of Ukraine. Article 1 citizen of Ukraine - a person who acquired the citizenry of Ukraine in the manner prescribed by the laws of Ukraine and international treaties of Ukraine; And that's it. There are no prohibitions or violations there. If the Legislator wanted to prescribe that obtaining or having a second citizenship is a violation. Then this article would state the following: Article 1 citizen of Ukraine - a person who acquired citizenship of Ukraine in the manner prescribed by the laws of Ukraine and international treaties of Ukraine and is not a citizen of another country.
