Weaning 2026 | Can We Fit 3,000 Sheep in the Shed?! (Part 2)

Weaning 2026 continues in Part 2 — and things get busy fast. In this video we’re pushing the limits to see if we can fit around 3,000 sheep into the shed while keeping everything running smoothly. We kicked the morning off early, starting drafting at 6:30am, before bringing the lambs back through the shed from around 10am for drenching and weighing. By 12pm that side of the job was wrapped up, and by 1pm everything was back out in their paddocks. You’ll see a mix of body cam footage from the back pens as I work sheep with my dogs, alongside a close-up, bird’s-eye view of the sheep handler where Dad is weighing and drenching the lambs. This is real, unscripted farm work — long days, tight spaces, good dogs, and a system that has to work when numbers are this big.
