The Final Earthly Hours of Andersonville's Henry Wirz

Henry Wirz is remembered as the commander of the prisoner of war facility Camp Sumter, better known as Andersonville. His arrest and conviction of war crimes, and execution on Nov. 10, 1865, became a major media event in photographs and words. Here's the story. "Life on the Civil War Research Trail" is hosted by Ronald S. Coddington, Editor and Publisher of Military Images magazine.
