The Death of Robin Hood Left Me Wanting More | Movie Review

I thought The Death of Robin Hood was going to give us a completely fresh take on one of the greatest legends ever told. Instead, it gave me flashes of a great movie that never quite came together. The performances are strong, the atmosphere is excellent, and the central idea is genuinely interesting. But somewhere along the way, the movie mistakes slow pacing for emotional depth. In this review, I break down what Hugh Jackman gets absolutely right, why the movie's biggest strength is also its biggest frustration, and why I walked away feeling like there was a much better film hiding underneath it.
