Cats (2019) is a LITERAL Nightmare

We finally watched Cats (2019), the infamous musical movie disaster starring Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Judi Dench, James Corden, and more—and it was even worse than expected. Packed with awful CGI fur, terrible singing, cringeworthy songs that never end, and visuals that are straight-up horrifying, this film squanders its massive cast in one of the biggest cinematic catastrophes ever made. The whole story revolves around Jellicle cats competing in a bizarre talent show to be chosen for the Heaviside Layer—a mystical "rebirth" that feels suspiciously like a voluntary sacrifice or ritual euthanasia, all wrapped in glitter and "Memory."
