$30 cheap paddle shifter extensions: Are they any good for my Audi S4?

I wanted a longer range of contact with them without breaking the bank, but I didn't want plastic or a colored product. I ordered this extension designed specifically for my paddles. They are not plastic, have a nice weight to them and come with everything you need to install. They were under $30. Are they worth it? Seems like it.
