In this video, I'll show you an advanced DC motor speed control technique. A system is only considered controlled if its output is monitored and feeds back to the controller indicating that it is in the desired state. If it isn't, the controller will intervene until the system is under control. This is what we call a Control System, and it has a Control Law. Thus, we can have a motor with a constant speed controlled by reading an encoder disk (reading the motor's current RPM), feeding back to the Arduino (Controller) and completing a PID control loop (Control Law).
