Parallel and Perpendicular Lines
In this video you will learn how to find the equation of parallel and perpendicular lines. Parallel lines are lines that never intersect, and those lines have the same slope. Perpendicular lines are lines that intersect in a 90 degree angle. The product of the slopes of perpendicular line is negative one, or put another way the slopes are opposite reciprocals, meaning opposite signs and reciprocals of each other. You will witness three examples worked, and you will get an opportunity to work your own example at the end.
