Dodging motorbikes Karon beach to temple night market – a night walk tour | Thailand travel vlog

Dodging cars and motorbikes, buses, tuk tuks and broken or non-existent footpaths makes you feel alive in Thailand. In this video I walk from Karon beach, past the roundabout and up Patak Road to the Karon night market in the Wat Karon, the temple. Check out the food and shopping and then navigate my way back, dodging vehicles down Patak road back to the roundabout. Then some live music and a drink to relax after a chaotic evening. I’m travelling solo in Phuket, Thailand... and walked the road and visited the temple night market solo. Was I lonely? No, alone, but not lonely. Solo is not lonely, its freedom. Freedom to walk and browse at my own pace. Karon beach is paradise, well I think. This is a 4 km long, white fine sandy beach on Phuket Island with crystal clear water. A quiet relaxing beach, separated from buildings, hotels, restaurants by a road; the beach is for recreation, relaxing, walking and swimming. I'm travelling solo in Thailand. Am I lonely? No! Alone but not lonely. Solo is not lonely, its freedom! Freedom to do what you want, when you want, how you want to, where you want, for as long or as little time at your own pace. Its peaceful.
