During an operation on the 4th block of Santa Rosa Avenue in Santa Anita, district inspectors found insects and spoiled meat inside a freezer at a Chinese restaurant. Municipal authorities also found a dirty rag in a greasy kitchen, just a few feet away from potatoes intended for use in the restaurant's dishes. During the inspection, authorities found frozen chicken, vegetables, and noodles, some in extremely poor condition, which were being used in the meals served to customers. RECYCLED OIL The most surprising discovery of the operation was that the cooks were recycling oil in soda bottles and reusing them more than three times, a practice extremely harmful to health. Customers who visited the restaurant were surprised by the operation conducted by Santa Anita authorities, who confirmed that the establishment will be shut down.
