This is a series about buying a 20-year-old used house and turning it into a home. Our previous bed was a queen-size Mandal from IKEA, but it was too small for our child to sleep with us, so we installed a wide king-size bed in our new bedroom, which has enough space for all three of us. We made a paper cloth panel and surround to fit the bed, creating a luxurious feel.
