Sprinter Schedule B Maintenance - Routine or not?

What's involved in the Mercedes Sprinter Schedule B (routine) maintenance and can you really do it yourself? How to change the oil, as well as the oil, fuel, and cabin filters. I had a couple hiccups, but it saved me $700 from the Mercedes dealer quote. It was not total routine, but after doing it once, the next time should be.
