The ambiance of Jaisamand Island Resort is truly amazing, it feels like you are in heaven. It takes about 15 minutes to from Jaisamand Marble Dam to reach to Jaisamand Island Resort by ferry. This is not a lake side hotel in Udaipur but it is a whole island inside a lake surrounded by water from all corners, you would feel like you are close to nature. This resort is a paradise for a peace and nature lovers. Jaisamand island resort is a perfect place for family and couples who wish to just sit back and relax in the lap of nature. A must visit for it's beautiful location surrounded by lake and the mountains. Consider these points if you are planning to visit Jaisamand Resort Udaipur: 1) Please take Udaipur Banswara highway to reach Jaisamand Lake. Google maps may mislead you. 2) Resort is on an island in Jaisamand lake (or Dhebar lake) so you have to park the car in the designated proper gated safe parking on the Jaisamand Marble Dam site and the motorboat takes us to the resort. Parking is safe and very reasonable. 3) Jaisamand Lake is viewed from all the rooms but preferably take second floor so that trees don't obstruct the view.
