◼︎ After ascending to the throne, King Jeongjo made a royal procession to visit Yungneung Royal Tomb in Suwon, the royal tomb where his father, Crown Prince Sado, is buried. As a royal procession, the scale of the procession was considerable. Departing from Changdeokgung Palace, the group crossed the Han River, passed through Siheung, and then proceeded to Yungneung Royal Tomb in Suwon to pay their respects. During the procession, they also stayed at Hwaseong Temporary Palace in Suwon to conduct state affairs.
