From the age of 19, he worked as a carpenter for 10 years, dismantling and repairing over 100 houses that were several decades old, gaining an understanding of the characteristics of sturdy and easily collapsing houses. At 29, he founded Hiramatsu Construction as a sole proprietorship. At 32, he incorporated it as Hiramatsu Construction Co., Ltd. He studied house construction in Germany to learn about energy-efficient and healthy housing.
