[About Run Papa] A runner in his late 40s struggling with raising a young child. His track and field experience was limited to three years in junior high school. He attended a high school that regularly competed in the national ekiden (long-distance relay race) championships, but became addicted to computers and left the athletic club. In 2003, in order to overcome his gambling addiction, he decided to find another hobby and start running again! In 2007, I aimed for a sub-3.5 hour marathon, but failed to achieve it, finishing in 3:38. That same year, I challenged myself with a 100km race (Saroma). I retired at 80km, but was drawn into an extraordinary world that I hadn't experienced even in a marathon. In 2009, I completed my first 100km race (Fuji Five Lakes). Since 2013, I've challenged myself with the Nobeyama 100km every year, but the grueling course has yet to allow me to set a record (；ω；) I started trail running in 2014, mainly participating in Kitatan. Since 2022, I've been struggling with recurring gastrointestinal problems. My current goal is to complete the Nobeyama 100km ultramarathon.
