Profitable cultivation of Sugarcane in salt affected soil || Crop Reformer

Spring crop of sugarcane planting is commonly carried out from mid of February to mid of April. In this video, we have explained the outlines of spring planted sugarcane. It has been elaborated that spring crop of sugarcane should be planted in 2.5 feet apart ridges. A basal fertilizer of 100 kg DAP and 50 kg SOP is suggested to be broadcasted in the furrow prior to adding sets. 20 thousand two budded sets prepared from 100 maunds seed of variety CFP 253 have been suggested for better yield. Spray of 45-60 gram of Regent (fipronil) is suggested after adding sets in the furrows. Basal application of 8 kg/acre of Virtako-Syngenta (chlorantraniliprol plus thiamethoxom) may be used as alternate. Shallow earthing up is suggested to be practiced after spray of insecticide on the sets. Pre emergence spray of Dual gold has been considered as better than flooding in most cases. It not applied as pre emergence, then spray of Maxpro-evyol group (atrazine+mesotrione +halosulfuron) within a month after planting, has been suggested as the alternate option of weed control in sugarcane crop. Application of 50 Kg of Zabardast urea after 35-40 days and inter row cultivation after 60 days has been suggested. #sugarcane #cropreformer
