After two years of planning to do it but always putting it off, the time has finally come to visit. The Fiumara d'arte is an open-air museum featuring a series of sculptures by contemporary artists located along the banks of the Tusa River, now a torrent. The river flows into the Tyrrhenian coast of Sicily near Castel di Tusa, a hamlet in the municipality of Tusa. In ancient times, the river flowed for twenty-one kilometers through the Nebrodi Mountains, reaching the ancient city of Halaesa.
