In questo video vediamo alcune espressioni che vogliono il verbo avere: “ho caldo”, “ho freddo”, “ho fame”, “ho sete”, “ho sonno”, “ho fretta”, “ho paura”. Vediamo, inoltre, come coniugare il verbo “avere” al presente: (io) ho, (tu) hai, (lui, lei, Lei) ha, (noi) abbiamo, (voi) avete, (loro) hanno. Il verbo “avere” si usa anche per dire e chiedere l’età: “Quanti anni hai?” - “Ho 25 anni”. Ricordate che, tranne in alcuni casi, non usiamo il pronome insieme al verbo (diciamo “ho”, non “io ho”). The verb “avere” is one of the most important ones in Italian. In this video you’ll learn some expressions with the verb “avere”: “ho caldo” = “I am warm/hot”, “ho freddo” = “I am cold”, “ho fame” = “I am hungry”, “ho sete” = “I am thirsty”, “ho sonno” = “I am sleepy”, “ho fretta” = “I am in a hurry”, “ho paura” = “I am scared”. You’ll also learn how to conjugate “avere” in the present tense: (io) ho, (tu) hai, (lui, lei, Lei) ha, (noi) abbiamo, (voi) avete, (loro) hanno. We use “avere” to ask and say our age: “Quanti anni hai?” - “Ho 25 anni” = “How old are you?” - “I am 25” Remember that, except in specific cases, we don’t use the pronoun with the verb (we say “ho”, not “io ho”).
