Fast, melodic, and furious, the album confronts war, power, inequality, and the systems shaping modern life while challenging listeners to question everything they’ve been taught. This record isn’t just anger it’s awareness. Through songs like “The New Fury,” “Old Guards, New Methods,” and the three-part “Story of a Free Man,” Verse explores how institutions shape our world and what responsibility we carry to resist them. One line captures the spirit of the entire album: “Perpetual war for perpetual peace.” More than fifteen years later, Aggression still feels urgent, proving that hardcore can be both emotionally raw and intellectually sharp.
