Entry 003 — Everyone Else's Emergency

A reflection on corporate urgency and how much workplace stress stems not from meaningful challenges, but from poor planning, shifting priorities, and artificial deadlines. Examines the gap between the promised balance of a traditional office job and the lived reality of constant interruptions and reactive work. Concludes that, in retrospect, this may be the aspect of employment least worth returning to, and one of the strongest motivations for seeking a different way of working.
