Looking Glass Sacred Drum & Gourd Dance - Gathering at Mule Creek
Kenneth Looking Glass is a Comanche song composer and performer. He is joined by his son to perform an original memorial song and a gourd dance song. A smudging ceremony is performed for the attendees of the Mule Creek Gathering during the gourd dance. The Gathering at Mule Creek was held in honor of Cynthia Ann Parker who was discovered with a small band of Comanches by Texas Rangers near this site May 19, 1836. The gathering was organized and presided over by her great, great grandson Ron Parker.
