Interior of Mugenkan The basis of stage 4 are the mess of enemies that both spam massive amounts of bullets at you but also are extremely durable to boot. You want to kill them as soon as you can however leave yourself room to escape if they begin to corner you. All the bullets will be aimed at you so you can use that to plan your moves. Also strangely enough and I need to see if this happens in other stages or even games but the bullet patterns are tougher if you're at max lives. When I'm at 8 lives they all shoot 3 bullets whereas if I'm at 7 they drop to 2 bullets. The mid-boss follows a similar strategy as Kurumi as a mid-boss. Stay in the corner dodging the bullets as they come by moving slowly and don't chase her down. Fighting Reimu's interesting. She's tailored towards Marisa so many of her moves are made to be dodged with quick movement although at a price. Many of her moves involve keeping you pinned down with many bullets then dropping fast moving bullets at you. Fighting Marisa on the other hand is tailored oppositely forcing you to use focused movement a lot. She actually fights like a more powerful yet more controlled version of her strategy from Touhou 2.
