Excited to announce that my new song, The Lonely Prince, is out today! 🫅 Over the past few years, I’ve been feeling a little lost and trying to unravel a lot of the beliefs I had when I was younger. I used to write music mainly in the pursuit of money and building a following. But going through a breakup and dealing with mental health struggles caused a huge shift in my mindset. In becoming a more empathetic person, I’ve realized that money isn’t everything. I’ve also realized how powerful songs can be in healing the soul. I live in an area where people compete for the highest paying jobs from the most prestigious technology companies. I work in an industry where clout and following often determine success. But I’m learning to care less about the likes and followers and money, and more about writing songs to bring a little more happiness to the world. So anyway, this song is a little metaphor about my journey thus far. I hope you guys like it. Love you guys ❤️ Rosendale #rosendale #thelonelyprince ===== Rosendale - The Lonely Prince (Lyric Video) Written, recorded and produced by Brian Wang © 2024 MVGNXFERN LLC ===== Lyrics: I’m the lonely prince with the broken smile ‘Cause from my only home I have been exiled I’ve nowhere left to go nowhere left to hide Just trying to survive I never wanted emeralds I never needed gold All I ever really wanted was somebody I could hold I never wanted glory I never needed fame All I wanted was somebody who could wipe my tears away But people threw their sticks and stones They thought that I was weak They said A worthless man is one who wears his heart out on his sleeve They burned my castle to the ground They kicked my copper statues down I ran until I couldn’t now I’m lost and waiting to be found I’m the lonely prince with the broken smile ‘Cause from my only home I have been exiled I’ve nowhere left to go nowhere left to hide Just trying to survive I’ve been on the run yeah for all my life Too broken to be fixed no don’t even try it But I cross my heart, head up to the sky I’ll make it through the night I tried to be resilient Brave every cut and bruise But something told me I could never fill my father’s shoes I hated the attention Too much pressure all around When voices in your head say You’re not fit to wear the crown I steeled myself as hard as diamonds It was not enough ‘Cause people are so slow to give but always quick to judge They burned my castle to the ground They locked the gates and shut me out I ran until I couldn’t now I’m lost and waiting to be found I’m the lonely prince with the broken smile ‘Cause from my only home I have been exiled I’ve nowhere left to go nowhere left to hide Just trying to survive I’ve been on the run yeah for all my life Too broken to be fixed no don’t even try it But I cross my heart, head up to the sky I’ll make it through the night ===== More music: Listen to my album “Modern Myths For A Crazy World” here! https://linktr.ee/mmfacw Listen to my album "The Stages of Grief" here! https://linktr.ee/gr1ef Buy the Fairytale EP including "Fairytale" and "Landslide" here! https://linktr.ee/fairytal3 Sign up for my mailing list for updates! http://bit.ly/2E5wyEP ===== About Me (@RosendaleSings): Welcome to my channel!
