How to Wire Dual Woofers and Dual Tweeters in Custom Speaker Pods
A quick overview of how to wire up a dual woofer and dual tweeter setup as seen in some Customspeakerpods.com products. There are many ways to do this, but these are by far the most common. Utilizing passive crossovers such as a dedicated 2-way crossover or a simple capacitor are the most cost effective ways to get the most from your speakers while keeping your tweeters safe. The other, more expensive method is to install the woofers and tweeters on separate amplified channels through a digital sound processor (DSP). This method requires more equipment, more wires and more money but can provide improved results.
