Just A Shave: Schick Injctr L1 - Pella Injector (4) - Mitchell's Wool Fat Hard - Semogue SOC Taj

At the end of the video, I end up calling the splash the "Joris" brand name, when it is really "Floris". I'm a retard. Today was to try that same loading procedures as yesterday (i.e. Marco style) , but whip it up in a bowl instead of my face. I also try, finally, the revered Pereira Lather Bowl, and it worked well. I think it may be too small for larger brushes, but I look forward to trying it more. Many thanks to Keith for the Pereira bowl! Razor: Schick - Injector L1 Blade: Pella Injector (4) Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat - Hard Soap Brush: Semogue - Owner's Club Taj (61 uses) Post: Floris - 89 Razor and Blade Notes - Schick - Injector L1 ::: Pella Injector (4 uses): This is a very mild razor. Comfy as you would think. But even after 3-4 passes, I wanted a closer shave. So I actually whipped out another injector just to see if it could clean up what was left and it sure did! And it had better glide as well! It was an older model, an E injector. I changed the blade over to it and was glad I did it. That's the one to go with over the L1. Soap Notes - Mitchell's Wool Fat - Hard Soap: Scent: light linen/laundry/soapy type of scent. I like it. Feels classic, calming, and cozy. Not distinctly feminine nor masculine. Feels nourishing to the skin. Scent Strength: 3/10, very lightly present during shaving. Lather: 120 swirls, marco style, but then I took it to the bowl and whipped it up. The same soap loaded as yesterday... same water. But I was rewarded with 6 nice passes of lather, instead of 2. That's what bowl lathering can give you. I realize that still won't convince many face latherers, and that's okay. You have different priorities. It's just good to know. You can get 2 nice passes of lather working it all on your face, or 6 nice passes if you want to go with a bowl. Hydration: Perfect (for me) = 6 passes of lather Bowl: Pereira Lather Bowl https://www.etsy.com/listing/95519290... Brush Notes - Semogue - Owner's Club Taj (61 uses): Felt nice as usual. Easy splay and worked the lather well. *Shave Quality* During the Shave Feel: Cheeks: Almost Smooth Neck: Almost Smooth After the Shave Closeness: Cheeks: Close Shave Neck: Several hairs are showing some tip length (still a pretty good shave) I'm gradually adding answers to frequent questions here: http://www.sugardaddyshaves.com Wetshaving is the age-old shaving method where you create a lather from a soap or cream, usually with a brush. And these days, we also usually mean using a safety razor (aka double edge or DE) or single edge or straight razor to remove the hair. We often enjoy less irritated skin, healthier skin, more enjoyable shaves, and often closer shaves than those who use a multi-bladed cartridge and canned shaving foam.
