Serra da Estrela Mountains Portugal - Hiking, Waterfalls, Cold Water Dipping & Sheep Cheese!
We took a break from farm life and went on a little adventure to explore the Serra da Estrela Mountains - the highest point in Portugal. Originally we had planned a snow boarding trip but the weather meant a change of plan. We hike to see an amazing waterfall, take a dip in the chilly water and set off on an expedition to another mountain village. We sample some local cheese and even visit a museum to learn a little more about it! The rain couldn't put a dampener on this beautiful place!
